Notes |
- There is an LDS "New Hampshire, Death and Burial Records Index, 1654-1949" compilation that lists this "single" Hannah as "Hannah (Thowbridge) Jameson" b. about 1800 in Dunbrton, NH whose father was Abijah Throwbridge.
This is not correct. We know of no other Hannah Jameson (b.1800) of Dunbarton and we know of no Abijah Throwbridge in Dunbarton. Furthermore E.O.Jameson in his book, "The Jamesons in America" say's of this Hannah Jameson (p.321) "This daughter was unmarried. She remained with her widowed mother in Dunbarton, NH, then made her home with her sister, Mrs. Orcutt, in Chester NH, and later with her niece, Mrs. Sarah Sargent, in Amherst, NH, where she died June 22, 1878, on her 78th birthday."
