Notes |
- John was an accomplished and respected investment counselor. He graduated from Harvard Graduate School of Business in 1926 and was a director of the New Hampshire OPA (Office of Price Administration) during World War II. After the war, he was an administrator with the newly created AUI (Associated Universities, Inc.), a consortium of Nuclear Research Laboratories (mostly universities) at a time when it was responsible for building the Brookhaven National Laboratory. After he retired in the early 1950s, he became a charter member with the Arizona-Senora Dessert Museum, where he was president and life long spokesperson for this organization. He also served in various capacities for several other organizations, both private and civic, in the Tucson, Arizona area.
