Wright-Garber Marriage Record

There are two separate Lafayette Co., WI, registrations for this marriage. One (01506) was apparently filed on 10 Jan 1853 (Vol 1, p.293), which lists the marriage as 15 Dec 1852. The other registration (01408) was apparently filed 16 Jan 1853 (Vol 1. p.253) and lists the marriaage as 15 Nov 1852. The page and item numbers in the marriage registration book would suggest the reverse order is true, yet the dates given for the registration (on each entry) is as listed above. The reason for these two entries is unknown, although one can speculate it an attempt to correct the record, or perhaps reenter an assumed missing record. It should be noted the Wright family bible lists the marriage as 17 Nov 1852.
