William Jamison Record of Death

The date of birth on this Death Record is listed as 1834, not the 1843 thought to be this William Jamison's birth date. However this same Death Record has the age at death as 63 years, which would compute from the date of death as born in 1843 as expected. It is thought that who ever created this Death Record most likely incorrectly transposed the numbers "4" and "3" creating an unfortunate and misleading mistake. NTW - several other contemporaneous records (including a newspaper obituary), all confirm the more familiar and correct dates. See more here.
