11 Fanny appears to be listed as "Fanny Jameson" and her father as "Grey Jameson" on their 1845 marriage record Family: Alexander Jameson / Fanny Jameson (F1)

12 Fanny's surname is a mystery. The only record we have of that is the 1845 marriage record, which appears to list her as "Fanny Jamison" and her father as George Jamison. However, several more recent "Ancestry" Genealogies have her as a "Gurshee" or a "Hurshee." None of these "genealogies" are explained or documented, as to that. It should however be noted, that the name "Gaushe" appears as the middle name for their daughter Charlotte, as her middle name, on her 1870 Massachussetts death record. Jameson, Fanny (I2)

13 Given name often spelled "Sidney" Jamison, Sydney (I12)

25 Presumed to be adopted by Luther S. and Mary (Clark) Wright. There does NOT appear to be any formal record of this, however, Y-DNA testing, pretty much confirms this as "highly likely." Jameson (Wright), Charles E. (I7)

27 They officially adopted William Robert Jamison above, who then assumed the surname Rockwell Family: Daniel Jay Rockwell / Katherine Veronica Egan (F12)

28 This Alexander Jamison, is related to a Robert Jamison (1852-1903). Proven by an 1880 NJ census where their families are listed as such.

The Y-DMA test by a descendant of Robert, proves he (and thereby Alexander) share the same Y-DNA profile, which also would prove that they (and their heirs) are directlated with the Jamesons, listed in the www.somejamesons.com website.

Alexander's only known male descendant, unfortunately, cannot be Y-DNA tested, as he died before Y-DNA was developed for testing.
Jameson, Alexander (I1)
